What are the advantages of a zirconium crown?

Lássuk is ezeket!

Consultation and treatment plan

During the dental consultation and assessment, we will offer you the most appropriate solution, taking into account all factors. If a zirconium crown proves to be the most suitable, your offer and treatment plan will contain information about the treatment schedule.

Stages of treatment

  1. Preparation of the tooth(s).
  2. Taking casts.
  3. Fitting the frame.
  4. Fitting without glaze setting.
  5. Final consolidation.

The eternal question is what to choose: a metal ceramic crown, metal—free zirconium ceramics or, perhaps, pressed ceramics?

Ceramic-metal crowns are increasingly being selected only for the posterior, chewing area, where their strength and excellent value for money make them particularly recommended.

Another difference is that metal frame crowns may have a gray rim on the neck of the tooth and the edge of the gum, while zirconium ceramic crowns do not have this disadvantage. Due to aesthetic differences, we primarily recommend zirconium ceramic crowns for the visible anterior area, and pressed ceramic crowns with even more outstanding aesthetic characteristics for the restoration of single crowns.
